WHAT HOME HELPERS REQUIRES OF YOU:

- 18 years of Age

- Clean Background

- Driver’s License & Auto Insurance

- Right to Work in U.S. (SS Card/Visa)

- Work Every Other Holiday

- Work 1 Weekend a Month

WHAT YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

- Use Scheduling App to Clock In/Out of Shifts

- Reporting to All Shifts on Time

- Follow Client Care Plans

- Document Client Activity

- Medication Reminders

- Meal Planning & Preparation

- Housekeeping & Laundry

- Assisting w/ Bathing, Dressing, & Grooming

- Assisting w/ Ambulation, Transferring, & Positioning

- Transporting Clients to Appointments/Errands

- Transporting Clients to Outings/Social Events

- Assisting w/ Communication, Writing, & Daily Life Tasks

- Supervision & Companionship

WHAT SHIFTS ARE AVAILABLE?

- Varies by Client

-  6, 8, 10 and 12 Hour Shifts available 

- One weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month is required 

WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

Home Helpers is an in-home care agency, which means your primary place of work will be the client’s home or apartment. While this may be a more relaxed work environment than a facility, we encourage applicants to consider the added responsibility of reporting to multiple work locations.

WHEN WILL YOU BEGIN WORK?

Home Helpers utilizes a gradual onboarding process. Even if you are expecting to work full-time, you will not be scheduled 40 hours your first week. You will be expected to work on training modules during your first 2 weeks of employment, while we schedule introductory shifts with potential clients.
